Fall frenzy

I am not sure where September went but I was busy the whole time and did not get to sew much at all. We took an amazing 2 week vacation, our first that long since our honeymoon I believe. We saw Yellowstone in all it's glory. It was beautiful and so nice to be totally disconnected for 5 days. That time really made me want to get home and make sure to continue with offline time to create and spend with family. 

October is one of my favorite months with Halloween one of my favorite holidays. I finally got started on the "Boo Crew" see along from Fat quarter shop and feel I will have it hanging before Halloween!
With fall starting and time on the road to think about the year so far, I have been starting to plan for next year's goals. When do you start assessing last year's goals and setting new? Are you a monthly, quarterly, annually or never planner? I am still working on better organization but feel at least a quarterly reassessment helps me stay on track or get back on. 
Getting back to my sewing makes me feel great and I have 2 more sew alongs starting this month so hopefully will have much more to share as I go. I hope you are finding time to do what rejuvenates your spirit too and enjoy all the wonders of fall!
